Wanted: Brand Manager
Exciting and growing animal feed company seeks a talented Brand Manager for their equine portfolio.
In this role the Brand manager will be accountable for developing the brand innovation and communication strategies for products to build consumer demand and market share. Brand Manager will be involved in development of brand strategy, pricing strategy, innovation, product portfolio management, new launches and integrated brand activation plans. Also, you will help the company make fact-based decisions by sharing trends and competitive insights.
In this role you will
Leverage consumer insights and trends and customer needs to refine/create strategies and initiatives that create a competitive advantage for your business.
Lead development of business fundamental plans (i.e. pricing proposals, business forecasting, product assortment, distribution, merchandising, packaging, sales coordination).
Be the voice of our consumers for their brand and you will provide input in the new product development process and collect customer’s feedback on new product concepts
Identify opportunities for and execute of line extensions and brand renovations, and create and lead the execution of marketing plans for your initiatives
Collaborate with key cross-functional teams including planning meetings, conference calls, etc.
Design brand marketing plan and interact closely with salesforce to ensure implementation of brand marketing plan across different customers and segments.
Collaborate with regional and national retailers to execute brand growth programs in their systems.
Liaise with teams across the organization as well as with external marketing agencies. Communicate plans and promotions with key stakeholders including sales team.
Help establish business objectives, strategies, campaigns, and tactics that will successfully meet the financial plan and take advantage of market opportunities
Supervise branded content, manage access to brand assets, develop and refine brand standards guidelines.
Maintain/develop content calendar and coordinate content creation for digital and social marketing platforms.
Conceptualize strategic directions and implement details of a campaign
Keep a balance between disciplined strategic approach and nimble action to respond to unforeseen opportunities.

To be considered for this job you must possess
True passion for equine industry (horse owner, showing /managing equine or working in the equine industry)
Be willing to live in Western Ohio
A proven track record of success in branding and brand marketing
3+ years experience in marketing CONSUMER PACKAGE GOODS
3+ years’ experience in Marketing or a related field
Proven leadership ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams across a matrix organization
Good Understanding of consumer psychology
Be a team player with strong interpersonal skills
BS degree in Agri-Business, Marketing, Meat or Animal Science, or a related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
