Director of Content Marketing – Global Technology Giant in Mobile & Online Messaging - NYC
Our client is a global leader in enterprise to consumer digital communications. Their investment in artificial intelligence, bots, big data technologies, real-time analytics and a world-class hosted platform makes our technology possible at scale and serves the world’s largest enterprises.
Create original ideas for content (i.e. event presentations, research reports, other sales and marketing collateral, etc.) - write them yourself, and work with their creative group to make them unique and beautiful.
Look at internal data, where there is billions of views per month on the websites of retailers, banks, telecoms and other large companies from where you can see interesting trends and come up with interesting viewpoints to turn into reports.
Have the budget to commission surveys about communication, apps, messaging, technology, shopping, and other consumer trends.
Assign essays, white papers and other documents to freelancers. Manage that process.
Experience with B2B tech/software, to ramp up onboarding speed.
Experience creating content that is interesting and has substance, ideally in the business/commercial world.
Multi-facetedness. We run a lean and agile marketing organization, so people don’t focus 100% on a single narrow area. Ability to turn your hand to related areas, outside of writing/editing/project managing is valuable.
Some technical understanding about databases, stats, DB tables, aggregation vs raw data, DB queries etc., and knowledge of research methodologies, survey strategies, and ethics, sample size validity, data segmentation.
Team-focused and able to work well with others. We have a very positive and friendly culture, so it’s important that we hire people who are a pleasure to work alongside.
Organized and able to manage projects both solo and overseeing teams of writers and designers.
