The role of Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing successful marketing efforts across the firm’s social media channels including Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and more.  Under this umbrella would be increasing and analyzing brand awareness, fan acquisition and engagement on all platforms, developing social strategy, all the while remaining true to the company’s unique online personality.
What You Would Do:
  • Work and communicate closely with the Director of Social Media to create and execute all social media related activity
  • Manage and plan the day-to-day functions of the company’s social platforms which would also include live content and community management
  • Plan and develop the monthly content calendars to ensure that each post is executed in a fashion that reflects and builds on the company’s unique identity
  • Bring a business savvy perspective to social platform presence and content creation
  • Communicate effectively any important findings or trends to all affected teams
  • Track, analyze, and report the success and results of the social efforts to management and founders
  • Communicate and coordinate with the Direct and Retail teams any social media support for upcoming themes, promotions and launches
What You Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in any related field
  • 3-4 years of professional social media experience
  • Background in and passion for the cosmetics industry
  • Experience using analytics to track social media channels and develop insights from findings
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational communication skills
  • Enjoys working in fast paced, start-up environment that is customer-centric
  • Organized and is attentive to detail and timeliness of projects
  • Natural understanding of the beauty client and ability to anticipate and fulfill their customer needs
